News: Don recently won the Star Search contest on Lake 94.7 Radio Station. His song Ode to the 9th Ward (will load then auto-plays from this page) will be played there starting in Mardi Gras season for at least one year. Don also just released Whiskey for My Friends, another great new song about friendship in New Orleans.

Don Barry released his new CD "Retro News," a compilation of great songs previously unpublished until now. These songs came from the golden age of the New Orleans music scene of the 70's and 80's when the sounds of blues and rock were still being fused into the internationally acclaimed style it is today.
